Key Hiring Criteria

Location: Preferably South Africa residents
Education: Qualifications not required—hiring based on practical skills and project quality. However, a diploma or bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Digital Media, or related fields is an advantage. Relevant certifications are also advantageous.
Work Arrangement: Full-time Hybrid (Remote + In-Office flexibility initially; transitioning full-time in-office as team expands)

Role Overview

We are hiring two Product & Developer Experience (DX) specialists focused on the look, feel, onboarding, and user growth of Voxcode. You will design mobile editor layouts, define brand identity, create onboarding flows, and produce engaging video content showing what developers can build on mobile.

Key Responsibilities

  • UI/UX & Product Feel: Design clean, mobile-first editor screens and brand assets
  • User Onboarding & Growth: Design landing pages and walkthroughs to convert visitors into active users
  • Content & Video Tutorials: Record and edit crisp screen recordings, video walkthroughs, and demo content for social platforms
  • Feedback Loops: Analyze user touchpoints and continuous visual updates to refine product experience

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX, visual design, or product landing pages
  • Ability to produce clear, well-edited video tutorials and product demos
  • Nice-to-Have: Basic coding understanding (TypeScript, React, Node.js) to prototype designs or understand dev workflows
